夏を制する者が受験を制す
夏だ！
海だ！
プールだ！
祭りだ！
花火だ！
夏期講習だ！
というわけで全国の受験生諸君。頑張っておるかね？
最近完全に編集長のblog化してしまっているTO*SCA-webへようこそ。
もちろん辛口トークも多いが、なあに、気にするな。
君たちの勝負は冬の真っただ中。まだまだ半年以上あるのだから焦らず今やるべき事に励んでくれ。
おっと。
かと言って夏を舐めたらイカンぞ。
俗世の連中はこの暑さにウカれてやれ恋だ、デートだ、青春だと集中力が散漫になりがちだ。
しかし！
君たち受験生に夏はない！
あるのは希望の春か絶望の冬だけだ！！
昔、かのナポレンオン３世が言った「夏を制する者が受験を制す」という言葉があるように、今こそがライバルをリードすべき大事な時！
「来年の夏は女の子と海で仲良くなって一緒に花火してときめきを奪って１ヶ月ラヴロマンスに浸ってやるッ！」
という野望を胸に、今は君たちのすべきことをしたまえ！

ここで君たちにとても有り難い言葉を教えてあげよう。（ココカラ本題）
僕が君たちと同じ受験生だった時、先生から言われた言葉だ。
「調子がいいときは誰でも良い結果が出せるもの。でも試験本番の日に調子が良いとは限らない。だから、自分の一番調子の悪い時のレベルを上げる事こそが大事なんだよ」
意味が分かっただろうか。
本当のレベルアップというのは、模擬試験の最高点を言うのではない。
ダメダメな時でもある一定の水準を保てる事こそが真のレベルアップなのだよ。
この事を胸に、熱く長い夏を戦い抜いてほしい。

『調子がいい時は君たちだってＪリーグトップレベルの実力を持っている。それはナビスコ杯決勝のような相手より１人少ない逆境でも戦い抜ける事を証明したとおりだ。しかしながら、１年の長いシーズンの中で調子が悪い時だってある。でも「それは調子が悪かったから」と勝ち点１（ないしは０）で終わらせるか、「調子が悪いなりに勝つ！」となれるか、そこの考え方こそが君たちがもう１つ上のレベルにいけるかどうか重要なところなんだ』という最近妙に説教じみた言葉の多いTO*SCAの雰囲気を受験生に向かって吐き出す事でちょっとお茶を濁してみた筆者の心情が伺える。
ま、とりあえず。皆さん、恋も受験もサッカーもガムバッテ。
